SEVENTH MEETING - MAY 19th, 2007

WHEN THE MEDIUM SHOULD NOT APPLY PASSES

a)      when he/she does not feel confident;

b)      when he/she is consumed by negative emotions and cannot overcome them;

c)      when he/she has addictions such as the regular use of alcohol, toxics, bad eating habits or use practices that promote unnecessary physical exhaustion. If he/she smokes, diminish the habit on the day of the work of passes; fight gradually against the addition until it is completely eliminated, so that the service of applying passes can be perfected

d)      when his/her stomach is too full or after they have had a “heavy” meal;

e)      when he/she is taking controlled medications (especially of the kind that act over the nervous system);

f)        when in advanced age and with visible fluidic exhaustion and therefore organic deficiencies that affect the work;

g)      when he/she is a child or still very young;

h)      when he/she is mentally or physically stressed;

i)        the pass should not be applied at any time, indiscriminately, or for any reason

A FEW ORIENTATIONS

·        “Interrupt the mediunic manifestations during the period in which the healing passes are being applied. Discipline is the soul of efficiency”. Andre Luiz

·        The magnetizers will not answer to questions or requests by the patients during the scheduled time of the application of the pass “Every work, to show efficiency and confidence, needs discipline”. Chico Xavier

·        When the patient is unable to leave his/her residence, the directors of the institution or sector responsible for the work will make arrangements for his/her assistance, in this case, the medium magnetizer should be accompanied by others prepared for the task.

SIXTH MEETING - MAY 12th, 2007

PASS – METHODS OF APPLICATION

            Before making any considerations regarding the methods of applying the pass, we should remember that the magnetizer should, in the first place, prepare himself conveniently, through spiritual elevation; should see the transmission of the pass as an imminently fraternal act, donating the best he has in feelings and vibrations.

            The transmission of pass is done by the will that directs the fluids to reach the desired goal. From that, we can conclude that above any position, movement, or exterior apparatus, the mental disposition of the individual that applies and the one that receives the pass, is most important. In the transmission of the pass, we should avoid conditionings that already became usual but that only degrade good Spiritist practices.  We point out below what the knowledge of the mechanic of fluids already led us to conclude:

·        There is no need to touch, in any way or under any pretext, the patient, for the transmission of fluids to occur. The transmission happens from aura to aura. Touching the hands onto the person that receives the pass cause reactions contrary to the good reception of fluids and, in itself, create embarrassing situations that is best to prevent.

·        The imposition of hands, as Jesus used, is the correct example of how to apply the pass. (The Coronary Point is the first to receive the stimulations of the spirit, commanding the other points, yet vibrating with them in fair regime of interdependence). “The Coronary Point supervises, yet, the other energy points that obey its impulses…” (André  Luiz).

·        The movements that were gradually incorporated to the method of application of the pass created a folklore regarding this Spiritist practice, disfiguring the real technique. The magnetizers started to worry more about the movements that they had to use than about guiding their thoughts to move the fluids.

·        There is no conventional position that the patient needs to take for the fluids to be received (legs uncrossed, cupped hands facing up, etc). What is important is the mental disposition to capture the fluids that are being transmitted, and not the position of the body.

·        The medium magnetizer transmits fluids, without the needs of incorporating a spirit to do so. That is why the pass should  be silent, discreet, without whispering of prayers, repetition of phrases or guided according to sacramental words

·        The pass should be applied in a chamber setup for that purpose, avoiding the inconvenience of applying it in public because, besides losing a lot of the power due to the vain curiosity of the people present and due to the lack of harmonization of the environment, it goes against the Christian ethics and discretion. The chamber of passes is constantly saturated with fluidic-spiritual elements, allowing better assistance to the patients and eliminating factors of fluidic dispersion that generally occur during the “pass in public”.

·        Unpleasant conditioning should be avoided, such as snapping the fingers, clapping hands, rubbing hands, loud breathing, blowing, etc.

·        In the past, when it was believed that the pass was simply a magnetic transmission, certain beliefs were created but the study of the fluidic transmission dismissed them, such as: need to hold hands so that the “current” can be established; alternating genders so that the pass could occur; obligation of the magnetizer to get rid of metal objects so not to “break the current”, etc.

·        We are immersed in an immense sea of fluids, and the medium, as he/she applies the pass, recharges him/herself with wholesome fluids. Therefore, the need that certain mediuns feel to receive a pass from other mediums at the end of their work because they feel devitalized, is nothing more than the simple conditioning. There could be physical tiredness, but never fluidic stress, if the work is conducted well.

·        The pass should be applied in an adequate environment, the SpiritistCenter. Avoid the pass in the home so that it doesn’t encourage sloth and flash scruple from people that do not want to be seen in a SpiritistCenter because that would affect their “social status”. Only under circumstances of severe illness or the total incapability of attending the Center should the pass be applied, “by a small group”, in the residence of the patient, during the time the patient is unable to attend the SpiritistCenter.

·        The transmission of fluids should be done from person to person, and unusual practices such as applying passes in clothes, towels or objects that belong to the patient should be avoided, just as there is no need to take a photograph for the patient to be assisted remotely

·        There isn’t a standard on the number of passes that the medium can apply above which he/she would harm themselves. The quantity of passes transmitted can lead the medium to physical exhaustion, but never to fluidic exhaustion, if the work is well supervised, because the replenishment of fluids happens automatically as the medium helps the patients that enter the chamber of passes.

·        It is important to note that the spiritual fluids transmitted by the disincarnated magnetizers circulates primarily over the head of the mediuns (Coronary and Frontal Chakras), as it is explained by Andre Luiz in the book “In the domains of mediunity”, unnecessary is, therefore, that the mediums raise their arms to receive the fluids. “The thought influences in decisive manner, in the donation of healing principles”.

·        To the ones that visit the SpiritistCenter, it is not mandatory to receive the passes. The offer is generous because it leaves up to each one the choice to receive it, or not.

·        There is no scale for the worthiness of passes, or some better than others: the “NORMAL” and the “SPECIAL”

 

ON THE DAY OF THE SERVICE OF PASSES

            “Even though your assistential work begins at a scheduled time, begin your union with the Superior Plan early.” Cultivate the instant meditation during the whole day, stopping for a few seconds, wherever you may be, thinking about Jesus, blessing the pedestrian, meditating about the work that the farmer did cultivating food, seeing in your inferior, in your co-worker, or in your boss the brother in humanity.

            Balance your diet, eating healthy and sufficient meals. Do not consume alcohol, as it would not allow the work. Try keep smoking to the least amount, if you cannot avoid the addition completely, but remember that for the perfection of the work, the nicotine addition should be abolished.



FIFTH MEETING - MAY 5th, 2007

DISPOSITION OF THE MAGNETIZER AND OF THE PATIENT

            As we have already seen, the pass is a method of help; it is a fluidic act of love. To apply the pass, it is necessary to attend to some basic recommendations, so to obtain the desired results. From the magnetizer, it is requested intimate harmony; elevated thoughts focusing on the Superior Plan, through will and prayer directed towards helping the patient. The conscientious faith, the firm and continued thoughts for the purpose of serving, are fundamental conditions.

            It is adequate to ask: what is the number of passes that can be applied?

            There is not a number or limit for the quantity of passes that can be applied. It is important to remember also that the quantity of passes applied can lead the medium to physical tiredness, but never to fluidic exhaustion if the work is well oriented as the replacement of fluids happens automatically, as the medium keeps assisting patients.

            From the patient, on the other hand, it is requested receptiveness, faith and trust in the assistance from Up High, and the mind in state of renewing prayer. According to what Andre Luiz tells us in the book “In the domains of mediunity”, the effectiveness of the pass is intimately connected to the faith of the patient, without which the magnetic irradiations do not penetrate the body to bring the adequate medication for relief of the patient.

            It is important to remember that, for the work to develop well, it is indispensable the experience, time, confidence and responsibility of the magnetizer. The Law cannot under mind the lines of logic.

WARDROBE OF THE MAGNETIZER

            Does the medium need to wear white for mediunic work or to apply passes?

            “The white clothing has no vibratory influence in relation to the Spirits, who tune in the emanations of the mind, the irradiations of behavior.” Herculano Pires

            “The Spiritist does not tie himself to exterior things.” André  Luiz

            “All the formulas are merely charlatanry. There is no sacramental word, no cabalist signal, no good luck charms, that could have any action over the Spirits, because they are only attracted by the thought, not by material things.” Allan Kardec

THE CHAMBER OF PASSES

            It is convenient that the group of magnetizers be chosen in advance, and that upon arriving in the Spiritist Center, they are already psychically, emotionally and physically prepared to perform their duties, and that they enter the chamber of passes at least 15 minutes before they start accepting patients for the passes.

            Before initiating their work, the coordinator should say a prayer and read a passage from the “Gospel according to Spiritism” or a book for the series “Our Daily Bread”, “Living Fountain” from Emmanuel, and soon after they should all maintain a state of mental prayer.

            For good performance of the work of passes it is necessary:

a)      Time

b)      Trust

c)      Intimate Harmony

d)      Respect

“Regarding punctuality, we should remember that the workers in the Spiritual World are not available only to assist us. If we insist in indiscipline they will move ahead looking for groups and workers that are mindful of the notion or responsibility.”

The chamber of passes shelters a whole lab of fluidic resources, although invisible to material eyes. Many of the fluids prepared are particularly sensitive to mental emanations. A disrespectful or rude word could bring worse consequences than we can imagine. Just as some medication require adequate conditions and temperature to be conserved; in the same way the fluids prepared deteriorate in morally polluted environments.

On the other hand, all emanation of faith, hope, love and work, every sincere prayer said inside the chamber of passes is precious contribution. Even when the pass is not being applied, remember that the assistential work continues to be operated by the superior planes of spirituality. Therefore, we should see in the chamber of passes an edifying temple of sanctifying work of spiritual medicine, where we give and receive; cooperating with God in the justification of the term we receive.

FOURTH MEETING - APRIL 28th, 2007

HOW THE PASS IS PROCESSED

            Just as the blood transfusion represents a renewal of physical energies, the pass is a transfusion of psychic energies; but different in that the organic resources are taken from a limited reserve, and the psychic elements are taken from an unlimited reserve of spiritual forces.

            The organic reinvigoration (via the process of therapeutic fluidic transmission of spiritual and magnetic nature) achieves, in the obsessed person’s metabolism, the same result that the physical organism obtains when an ill person receives a dosage of plasma or of a simple blood transfusion. The pass stimulates the white and red blood cells that begin working for the vitality and elaboration of the bone marrow of new sources for the maintenance and gradual substitution of the cellular implements on the organism.

            Everyone, with greater or lesser intensity can aid in applying a pass. Once the volunteer demonstrates loyal disposition to cooperate in working for the benefit of others, the Superior Spirituality indirectly orientates the volunteer. There are rare cases, however, in which people who demonstrate a natural tendency to serve, and although they are sincere and well intentioned, expect a healing mediunity as it if was a miraculous event in their lives instead of a good service that requires from the candidate laborious efforts in the beginning. The people that volunteer to apply the pass for the sake of doing good, can expect incessant progress of their radiant faculties, not only by their own efforts, but also by the assistance from Up High, of which they prove themselves worthy. Once the candidate has obtained these basic characteristics, he needs to consider the need for his urgent elevation, so that his work can be elevated at the same pace. It is necessary to balance oneself in the aspects of emotions, of sufficient and balanced nutrition. Alcohol and drugs generate disturbances in the nervous plexus, modifying certain psychic functions, annulling the best efforts in the transmission of regenerative and salutary elements.

THE TECHNIQUE OF THE PASS

            The transmission of pass does not require any spectacular resource. The makers and disclosers of techniques of the pass do not know what they are doing.  The technique of the pass does not belong to us, but exclusively to the Superior Spirits, who are the only ones that know the real situation of the patient, the possibilities of helping him in view of his commitments or tests, the nature of the fluids of that the patient needs and so on.  The mediums live the terrestrial life and are conditioned in the incarnation that they deserve and need.  They do not know anything about the nature of the fluids, of the efficient and appropriate way of apply them, of the diverse effects that they can cause.  In fact, the "medium only has a vague perception, generally superficial of the fluids”.

            Its is an obligation of the conscientious worker to prepare himself through studying so that he can be ever more useful and efficient in the task that he volunteered to complete. It is important to note, however, that in any field of work, the absence of study means stagnation. Any worker that gives up on learning, or incorporating new knowledge, condemns himself fatally to lesser activities.

HOW SHOULD THE PASS BE APPLIED?

We can summarize saying that

1)      It suffices the imposition of hands over the head of the patient or, it is admissible, the LONG-DISTANCE PASSES which André Luiz mentioned in several of his books:

 

LONG-DISTANCE PASSES: “Knowning this techniquie of inquestionable value and practicality, put it in practice, since its use is as recognized and accepted, even in the spiritist pass, as the imposition of hands itself”.

            For better comprehension regarding this subject, we will now explain the MAGNETIC LONG-DISTANCE PASS: the patient should be, preferably, comfortably seated in front of the magnetizer, who will be standing and will impose his open hands about 6 inches from the head of the patient, acting over the patient’s Coronary Chakra for a few seconds, then slowly move the hands down to the Central Chakra, the Laryngeal Chakra, the Cardiac Chakra, the Splenic Chakra, the Gastric Chakra and finally the Genesic Chakra; at the end of the trajectory we should move the hands away from the patient and close them so that they are parallel to the magnetizer’s body (there is no need, however, to use strenght or muscle contraction to do so, nor shake the hands), take them again to the point where the trajectory will be reinitiated and only then re-open them. This movement can be done a few times. The need to close the hands exists so that psychicly, the “fluidic loss or scape” by physiological reflex can be interrupted. We emphasize here that we are dealing with psychic fluids, not spiritual fluids. “The arms are extended normally, without any contraction and with the necessary flexibility to execute the movements (Michaelus)”. The Coronary Point vibrates with higher intensity, which gives it greater potential for fluidic absorption, while the other points are subsequent to it. The traversing fluidic chain adds them up, naturally, from top to bottom (as far as the energy points). Therefore, the “fluidic collections” in the pass happen in the direction of head to feet.

2)      the Friendly Spirits know best which organs in each of us is in need of the healing energies

3)      No generalized rules are necessary

4)      No special gestures (or any pre-established movements) are necessary. “It

is important to note that, fundamentally, the results of the pass do not depend specifically of the way by which it is applied, but of who is applying and, many times, of the Spirits. Even so, we should appreciate the fact that the doctrine attributes to its practice the characteristic of simplicity. A standardization of the pass creates a great risk: to “mechanize” the magnetizers, deviating them from the importance or their concentration and of their participation in the application itself. But that is not all. In fact, if the magnetizer does not have a clear understanding of it, he can become a robot, an automaton, giving to others that do not have spiritist knowledge the impression that the doctrine is conditioned to certain rituals, when the truth is that it is against rituals or any behavior that could blunt the mind. As for the results, nobody, in good conscience could confirm that the standardized pass doesn’t have any effect at all…” The Alliance Movement, founded by Edgar Armond, should not adopt the pass with gestures, according to the orientation of the founder himself in the book “Mediumship”, page 168, of the chapter about Passes, adopted in the Schools of Mediums of the Alliance Movement, as he states in his orientation, which is in agreement with Kardec:

“And this means that all exteriorization, all production of the display of the application (of the pass) should be banned as useless. Simply the imposition of the hands, many times, is enough to obtain the desired effect, because the effect does not reside in the gesture or in the mechanic of the application, but in the sincere desire of the operator to alleviate the pain of the patient.”

TYPES OF PASSES

            The magnetic action can be produced in several ways:

·        By the Human Magnetism

·        By the Spiritual Magnetism

·        By the joint action of both

1st -- By the Human Magnetism

-         By the magnetizer’s own fluid is the magnetism or human magnetism, and its action is dependent upon the potency and mostly the quality of the fluids.

(“Any magnetizer can become a healing medium, if he knows how to let the good spirits assist him. In this case the spirits come to help, pouring over him their own fluids, which may multiply the effectiveness of the human fluid by dozens or hundreds of times.” Allan Kardec)

2nd – By the Spiritual Magnetism

-         By the spirits’ fluids that act directly, and without intermediation, over the

incarnated, to cure or to lessen the suffering, or to cause spontaneous somnambulist sleepiness, or even to have over the patient any physical or moral influence.  It is the spiritual magnetism, whose quality depends on the qualities of the spirit.

3rd – By the joint action of human and spiritual magnetism

-             By the fluid that the spirits pour over the magnetizer, who serves as a conductor. It is the mixed, semi-spiritual, or, if we prefer, the human-spiritual magnetism. The spiritual fluid combined with the human fluid provides to the latter the qualities that are missing. The assistance from the spirits, in those circumstances, is sometimes spontaneous, but more frequently it is requested by the magnetizer, whose prayer works as an invocation of assistance from good spirits. As André Luiz mentions in the book Evolution in Both Worlds, the pass can be understood as the emanation of mental power by the lever of willpower: “It is good to remember that, in any of this methods, the pass always originates from God. This certainty should contribute to the medium to become a humble person, cultivating always the idea that he is simply an intermediary of the Supreme Power, not being right, therefore, to attribute to himself any merit for the work. Any expression of vanity, in addition to constituting foolishness, means the beginning for the fall”.

THIRD MEETING - APRIL 21st, 2007 

PERISPIRIT 

            Men are formed by a physical body, a perispirit and a spirit. 
            The disincarnated are formed by a perispirit and a spirit. 
            The name perispirit was proposed for the first time by Kardec. It is the envoltory of the spirit.

WHAT IS THE PERISPIRIT 

            Perispirit is the semi-material envoltory of the spirit. It is also called the fluidic body or spiritual body.

ORIGIN AND ESSENCE 
   
            The perispirit has its origin in the universal cosmic fluid, retrieved from the world or plane to which the spirit is related. 
            Just as the body made of flesh, it is matter, but in a different state, more subtle, more refined; it is not, therefore, “another being” but simply an instrument of the spirit, just as the physical body is [an instrument of the spirit].

FUNCTIONS 

            1) It connects spirit and matter (in this world like in others) and serves as the spirit’s instrument to act over the fluidic or material planes. 
            2) Keeps records of effects of all actions and it sends it to the spirit, to the definitive archive of all passages of the entity during the evolutionary process 
            3) Allows the spirits to identify and recognize one another, in the spiritual plane 
            4) It is the mold, the shape of the corporeal being

PERISPIRIT AND INCARNATION 

            For the spirit to incarnate: a fluidic cord (which is an expansion of the perispirit) associates itself to the fecundated egg and presides over the multiplication of cells, one by one, driving the formation of the body. When this process is completed, the body is completely connected to the perispirit, “molecule by molecule”. 

            DURING THE INCARNATION: the perispirit serves as intermediary between the spirit and the material body transmitting to the spirit the impressions of the physical senses and communicating to the body the desires of the spirit. 

            AT DISINCARNATION: when the material body dies, the perispirit unties itself from it and continues to serve the spirit as its fluidic body, which is like its intermediary between the spirit and material planes. It pre-existed the body and survives it. “It is sown a natural body: it shall rise a spiritual body”, clarifies the Apostle Paul, in I Corinthians (15:44). Surviving the body, the perispirit then proves the immortality of the spirit. It is the perispirit (not the spirit itself) that we see in apparitions and visions; and it is the perispirit that serves as instrument for the manifestations of the spirits to our senses. Generally, the appearance that the perispirit has is of the last incarnation. But it can be modified (if the spirit wants and knows how to do so), because the subtle substance of the perispirit is malleable and plasmatic. 

            ITS EVOLUTION: the perispirit always accompanies the spirit, in all stages of its evolution. As the spirit perfects and elevates itself, the perispirit becomes more ethereal. In the pure spirits, the perispirit is so ethereal that, according to our senses, it does not exist. 
            According to the level of progress of the spirit, the perispirit will display different: 
                  WEIGHT: is what holds it to a plane of spiritual life in the company of others in similar condition. 
                  DENSITY: corresponds to its malleability; the expansion of the perispirit is as great as its subtleness and etherealness 
                  ENERGY: it is the luminosity and irradiation, and it is as great as the evolution level of the spirit. The expression “spirit of light” indicates a spirit that already reached a significant level of evolution. 
                  Inferior spirits have coarser perispirits, therefore, they are magnetized to the world they inhabit, and cannot reach more advanced planes. Some even confuse their perispirit (because of how coarse it is) with their material body and can experience sensations comparable to feeling cold, feeling hot, hunger, etc. 
                  Superior spirits, on the other hand, can freely go to other worlds, modifying their perispirits to adapt to the type of fluid that exist at their destination.

FLUIDIC CORD 

            “The fluidic cord works, as an example, like the umbilical cord does for a fetus. It is a “cord” connecting the spiritual body (perispirit) to the physical body, except it is extremely flexible and expandable, that serves to maintain the spirit connected to the body. So much so, that this fluidic cord is used to identify the incarnated in the spiritual world when in “detachment” (ex: during sleep, or in mediumistic out of body experiences).” 
            During sleep the cord is loosened and in death it is cut.

SECOND MEETING - APRIL 14th, 2007

AURA 

         "All living beings, from the most rudimentary to the most complex are revested of a halo "energetic halo" that corresponds to its nature. The aura is, therefore, irradiation of the live fabrics of plants and animals. This fact can be verified scientifically by the Kirlian photography; a study during which experiments were carried out and showed that an aura involves cellular bodies of plants and animals; and that this irradiation is directly linked to the cellular activity, radiant and strong as in a live leaf, for example; and it weakens as the cellular activity reduces". 
         "In man, however, similar projection arises deeply enriched and modified by the factors of continuous thoughts that, in conjunction to the emanations of the cellular field, which takes his shape, around the personality the known body vital or double ethereal, for some spiritualist schools, duplicate more or less radiant of the creature". 
         With his habitual thoughts and feelings, the spirit (incarnated or not) influences the fluids of its own perispirit and gives it its own characteristics. It is always emitting these fluids, which surround him and accompany him in all his movements. It is his aura, his “individual atmosphere”. 
         “(..) And there we have, this conjugation of mental and physical-chemical forces, the human aura; peculiar to each individual, interpenetrating them, at the same time that it seems to emerge of them, as an ovoid field; despite the irregular feature of which it configures itself; acting as a sensible mirror in which all states of the soul are stamped with characteristic signs; and in which all ideas are evidenced, creating live screens (...).
         Psychic photosphere, interlaced in dynamic elements, displays varied chromatic, according to the mental wave we emit, portraying all of our thoughts in colors and images that correspond to our objectives and choices, either dignifying or depressing. 
         That happens because we exteriorize (…) the reflex or ourselves, in thought-to-thought contacts, without the need of words for the fundamental sympathies or repulsions.”

Tuning and Gap 

         By the way we feel and think we establish a vibratory wavelength between others and us that think and feel like we do; in other words, when we “tune” with them we produce a certain type of fluids and the spirits that produce similar fluids will be able to “combine” their fluids with ours. 
         When we offer tuning and match of bad fluids, we are giving inferior spirits a “gap”.
         Vigilance and prayer avoid or correct others’ negative influence on us or ours on someone else. 
         Our aura, when balanced, healthy, bright, constitutes a shield that defends us from inferior irradiations, such as thoughts of envy, jealousy, vengeance, hate, etc., which are contained in the spaces that surrounds us, in the shape of mental waves, ready to powerfully feed our energetic ground, if we tune to them.

Obsession 

         The obsession can only occur when the obsessor finds in the obsessed moral weaknesses that could be exploited, which are the weak points of the personality. 
         In the human body, an illness only appears when there is fragility of the physical organism. In the psychic area, the individual, if it is morally frail, will be subject to obsession. 
         Knowing the weaknesses of the obsessed, the obsessor spirit little by little obtains mental control over the obsessed. If the obsession spreads, and it is not treated in reasonable time, there will be a progressive increase of the fluidic affinity between the obsessor and the obsessed.

CHAKRAS 

         CHAKRAS ARE ACCUMULATORS AND DISTRIBUTORS OF ENERGY, LOCALIZED IN THE PERISPIRIT. IT IS THROUGH THESE VITAL POINTS THAT THE INDIVIDUAL IN NEED ABSORBS THE ENERGY FROM THE PASS. 

         CHAKRA: word of Sanskrit origin that means “wheel” 

         ENERGY POINTS: “In accord to prior knowledge, our material body is intimately balanced by seven energy points that display themselves in manifestations of plexuses (interlacing of many ramifications of nerves, muscular fibers or blood vessels, etc. …). These energy points, vibrating in tune with each other to the influx of the directive power of the mind, establish, for our use, a vehicle of electric cells that we can define as an electromagnetic field in which thoughts vibrate. Our mental state determines the specific weight of our spiritual involtory (envoltorio). 
         Analyzing the physiology of the perispirit, we can classify the main energy points as follows:

Coronary Point 

         It is considered by Hindu philosophy as the lotus of a thousand petals, given its importance and high potential of radiation, because in it settles the connection with the fulgent mind, conscience’s thirst. This point receives first the stimulations of the Spirit, commanding the other points, however in regime of independence. It operates in synchronous and tuned activity with the brain. It administrates the vehicle of exteriorization, utilizing the brain from where it collects stimulations, transmitting in its turn impulses and warnings, orders or mental suggestions to the organs and tissues, cells and implements of the body through which it expresses itself using a group of diencephalons nucleus’, it possesses in the thalamus a vast system of control of the spirit. 
         Through it, the thought or mental fluid flows, by subtle secretion, not from the brain, but from the mind. 
         From it emanate the energies that support the nervous system and the organic maintenance. 
         In the physical body, it corresponds to the coronary plexus.

Cerebral or Frontal Point 

         Connected to the Coronary Point, it controls the perception in various types such as vision, hearing, touch, and the processes of intelligence that are connected to speech, to Culture, to Art, to Knowledge. It controls also the endocrine nucleus that refers to the psychic powers. 
         In the physical body it corresponds to the frontal plexus.

Laryngeal Point 

         It controls the vocal phenomena, the activities of the glands of timo, thyroid and parathyroid. 
         In the physical body it corresponds to the laryngeal plexus.
 
Cardiac Point 

         It supports the functions of emotion and general balance. 
         In the physical body it corresponds to the cardiac plexus.

Splenic Point 

         It regulates the distribution and circulation of vital resources. 
         In the physical body it is located in the spleen itself in the mesenteric plexus.

Gastric Point 

         It is responsible for the absorption of nourishment and fluids in our body. 
         In the physical body it corresponds to the solar (or celiac) plexus.

Genesic Point 

         It is localized in the sanctuary of sex. It acts as a girdler of shapes and stimulations.
 
Disharmony of Points of Energy 

         In a direct way our unbalanced actions and thoughts create disharmony in the points of energy. 
         Prayer and passes are intercessory vehicles, and although are very useful, they are not a real basis for re-balancing and re-harmonization of the energy points. 
         Re-harmonize the energy points means, therefore, for one to morally reform oneself, acting in a Christian manner in all moments of life.

THE SPIRITIST PASS

INTRODUCTION 

         The Spiritist pass is simply the imposition of hands, used and taught by Jesus, as we see in the Gospel. 
         Someone who today judges the magnetic phenomenon as novelty, forgets naturally of that, from Ramsés’ Egypt, an old papyrus brought to our days already gave instructions regarding the curative magnetism: "Land your hand on the patient and calm the pain, affirming that the pain disappears."
         Centuries passed until it acquired extensive popularity with the demonstrations of Mesmer and traveled through, shy portal of scientific experimentation with outstanding personalities, such as James Braid and Durand Gross, Charcot and Leíbeault. 
         In the present times, it has been up to Spiritism, in its characteristic of Promised Consoler, to conserve and diffuse widely this modality of spiritual help, although the chronicles record similar activities in the heart of the Church, through virtuous priests. The Spiritist Centers are converted, then, in a sort of refuge for those that do not find, in the corporeal world, the aspired relief of their physical and mental disturbances. 

NOTIONS ABOUT FLUIDS

- MANIFESTATION - 

         We live in a universe constituted of particles, rays and waves that we normally cannot perceive. 
         Matter itself is constituted of small portions called atoms, which are so small that they cannot be seen in naked eye. 
         Even so, we understand that the compact matter, as we know it, and that composes a chair, a table, a piece of paper, etc, is composed by the union of those particles. These particles are not static. Quite the opposite, the intense speed that animates them makes it seem like they are in many places at the same time, and gives us the impression of continuity of the matter. Think of it as the blades of a fan: when the fan is off, you can put your hands between the blades through the empty spaces, however, you cannot do the same when the fan is on. 
         We are immersed in a world of refined, invisible, real matter, whose primary source is a substance called UNIVERSAL COSMIC FLUID (UCF) that gives matter all the material forms already known, and probably many other that are still unknown, and the energy in various forms in which it manifests itself. 
         The Universal Cosmic Fluid "is primitive elementary matter, and its modifications and transformations constitute the myriad variety of matter in nature." 
         "The starting point of the Universal Fluid is a degree of absolute purity, of which nothing can exemplify; the opposite point is its transformation into tangible matter. Between the two extremes, there are countless transformations, which approximate more or less to one or another. The fluids closer to materiality, and consequently less pure, compose what is known as the terrestrial spiritual atmosphere. It is in this environment, where equally varied degrees of purity exist, that the Earth’s incarnated and disincarnated spirits extract the elements necessary to the preservation of their existence." 
         The fluids are nothing more than energetic forms of this fundamental substance that the perispirit automatically absorbs from the environment, transforms according to the spiritual vibration standard where it is, and radiates around itself forming a true “psychic treadmill” or “mental breath”. 
         The fluids are subjects to the impulses of the Spirit’s mind, rather incarnated or disincarnated; the thoughts and the emotions give them a determined structure of larger or smaller density, according to the purity or harmony with which they are emitted. The more elevated the thoughts and emotions, the more the fluids will be harmonic, pleasant, luminous, and healthy. On the other hand, inferior and hostile thoughts and emotions generate unpleasant, unhealthy fluids. 
         We are, ourselves, constantly radiating what really we are, and impregnating with this particular fluid the things, the environment, the objects, and influencing the people that accept and assimilate this energy. 
         By educating our thoughts, we can radiate more elevated fluids, which are metabolized by our mind. Therein is the importance of maintaining our mind always in state of elevation.

SUMMARY

FLUIDS: matter, whose molecules are free, liberated, in state of random movement.

COSMIC FLUID: Primitive elementary matter, which originates the elements of the nature. It can be found in a rudimentary state, as rough matter, or in state of extreme purity. It is not uniform in ethereal state; passes for countless modifications, which originate the varied fluids. The Spirits modify them to obtain desired effects. It is with thoughts and desires that the spirit act on the fluids (this action can be conscious or unconscious). The spirit controls the fluids, gathers them, gives them forms, appearance, color and can even change its properties, as the chemists do with matter. 
         It is the great shop or lab of spiritual life. 
         Everything that exists in the Universe created by God, besides the spirits, is made of Universal Cosmic Fluid, the elementary, primitive matter. 
         In rarefied state, it diffuses itself in the interplanetary spaces and penetrates matter; it is like an immense ocean in which everything and everyone in the Universe is submerged.

SPIRITUAL FLUIDS: It is the atmosphere of the Spirits, composed of refined matter derived from the cosmic fluid. It can be of good or of bad quality, depending on the environment where it is found. Its nature is similar to that of the perispirit, reason by which it easily impregnates him.
